Yes, the wait is over. The bulldozers are ready to finally begin Spirit's expansion!
The plan is to tear down the building to the West of us ( the old bait and card shop). That will become our new parking lot, with access from both Lincoln Avenue and 77th street, giving us much needed parking space. The paving is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2008.
The building will be expanded to the East of where we are now. This will allow us to put in a basement which will double the size of the clinic. With this much needed space, we will be able to have more kennel space, another surgery suite, an ultrasound room, isolation, a physical rehabilitation center, and a larger treatment area.
It will also give us more office space and new bathrooms. The remaining lot will be all landscaped by Spring of 2008. Last but not least , the reception area will be remodeled, which will include another exam room, new check in and out stations, phone room, bigger waiting room, new counters, beverage center and more client comforts. The expected completion date is by Spring of 2008.
Myself and the staff at Spirit would like to thank you, the clients, for allowing us to care for your pets. This expansion is to keep up with the ever expanding veterinary medical field, and to increase the services we can provide to you and your pets. We also hope to make you and your pets' visits to Spirit more comfortable and appealing, and our little corner of the world nicer. We couldn't do this without you, and I want to once again thank all of you for your continued support.
